Welcome to Doremi Excellent School (DES). DES was opened in order to offer the Indonesian and expatriate an education with an International Standard. DES (Primary) which has been accredited by the government with the grade “A” was established in 2003. It was first opened with 5 children only, but then it’s growing extremely well. We continue to strive for academic excellence, for multilingual harmony with our learning community. Due to the high demand of the society, a Secondary School was opened in the academic year 2008/2009 which then followed by the opening of a High School in the academic year 2009/2010.

DES teaching staffs are recruited from domestic as well as from overseas such as America, United Kingdom, Australia, China, etc. They are qualified and they are trained regularly to improve their professional, pedagogical, social and personal competence to deliver the national and international curriculum. DES provides a true holistic education. Children are not only provided with academic program but also they will be helped to develop their emotion, physical, social and spiritual. We always try to create our school as “a second home for the children”.

English is used as a media of instruction in the teaching and learning process for the international curriculum while Indonesian is used to teach the national curriculum.

Besides English and Indonesian, the students are also taught Balinese to make them familiar with the local culture, and mandarin to prepare them to face the global era.

After school, we provide opportunities to develop the students’ talent in academic such as math, science and computer club, in art such as modern dance, Balinese dance, choir, marching band and Balinese orchestra, in sport such as badminton, swimming, basketball, karate and futsal, in social boy scout.
